Amazon listing optimization services are how a catalog gets found and then chosen. Rank without conversion is a tax. Conversion on the wrong keywords is a page nobody sees. SellTru does this work for brands doing $1M to $20M, on the same team that runs the ads. We are an Amazon Ads Partner Network member. The do-it-yourself version is the 2026 listing optimization guide. This page is the service.

If you want the audit without a call, use the free audit form. We read the ASINs that already have traffic, or the ones you are about to spend behind, before we propose a rewrite.

What we optimize: title, bullets, backend terms, images, and A+

Title

The first words have to be the product a shopper searched for, plus the attributes they filter on: size, count, material, flavor, pack. Search results often show only that opening. We do not stuff the title with synonyms. Amazon product listing optimization that reads like a keyword list trains shoppers to skip you, and the conversion drop shows up in rank a few weeks later.

Bullets

Five bullets. The first line of each one is the benefit. The rest is the specific a buyer needs in order to say yes. Secondary keywords live here when they did not earn the title. The Amazon SEO tips cover why bullets carry search weight even though most shoppers scan. Amazon SEO services, in practice, are this work: indexable words on a page that still reads like a product.

Backend search terms

Yes, we write them. Use the byte limit, do not repeat words already in the title or bullets, leave competitor brand names out, and fill the other backend fields the category shows. Backend terms index a query that would sound unnatural in a bullet. They are not a second title.

Images

The main image sits on a white background with the product large in the frame. The rest of the set answers the objection the bullets cannot: scale, what is in the box, how it is used, how it compares. A weak main image wastes every traffic source, including ads you are already paying for. We direct the set. We do not pretend a stock template is a creative test.

A+ content

Basic and Premium A+ is for Brand Registry sellers. Modules should answer the questions reviews keep asking. The service page is Amazon A+ content. Requirements stay in the A+ content guide, and Brand Registry is the gate. If the variation family is split, we fix the parent-child setup in the same pass.

Keyword research process

We do not start from a tool export and paste the highest-volume term into the title. That habit is how listings start ranking for a product they are not.

  1. The product in one sentence. If the title cannot say what it is, the research is aimed at the wrong query. Attributes shoppers filter on (count, size, scent, material) belong in that sentence.
  2. Reverse-ASIN on the listings that already rank for the job your product does. Terms several of those listings rank for are the category. Terms only one brand ranks for are often a brand name, and brand names do not go in your title.
  3. Your own search-term report from Amazon Ads. Queries that convert belong on the listing when they are accurate. Queries that spend without orders are a negative-keyword problem, not a copy problem. The keyword research guide is the long version. The negative keyword guide is the ad side of the same list.
  4. A page-fit check. A high-volume term you cannot win, or that describes a different product, stays off the title. Buying that traffic with a mismatched page drags conversion down, and rank follows conversion.

The output is a short list: one primary term, a handful of secondary terms, and a do-not-use list. That list drives the title, the bullets, the backend, and the campaigns. An Amazon listing optimization specialist who never sees the search-term report is guessing which of those terms deserve the first five words.

Conversion fixes

Indexing is not the same as being chosen. When sessions rise and unit session percentage does not, we look at the main image and price, the words search results actually show, bullets that lead with a feature nobody buys, reviews that describe a different product than the page promises, missing A+ content, and a variation setup that hides the hero ASIN.

The fix is specific: the image, the first bullet, or the A+ module that answers the top return reason. Then leave it long enough to read. Indexing can move within days. A full organic read is 60 to 90 days, the same window on the site FAQ.

For a consumable, the bullets or A+ should make the refill obvious: how often it is used, and how long a unit lasts. The Subscribe and Save guide is the profit side of that choice.

AI-assisted audits

People looking for Amazon listing optimization AI usually find a chatbot rewriting bullets with no account data. We use AI the way the Business Reports guide describes: sort sessions, unit session percentage, and search queries into a traffic problem, a conversion problem, or a positioning problem. A person still publishes the change.

Where the account has Manage Your Experiments, we test a title or a main image instead of debating the draft. We do not upload a catalog of model output. If the leak is the campaigns rather than the page, that work sits with account management.

Before you buy: freelancer vs agency

A freelancer, including a listing you can buy on a marketplace like Fiverr, is a reasonable way to rewrite one title. Hire that when the catalog is small, the images already work, and someone on your team can judge the draft against real search terms.

Hire an Amazon listing optimization agency when the page has to match the ad account. The term in the title should be the term in the exact-match campaign, and an image test should be read against conversion, not against whether a draft sounds better. The failure we see on takeovers is a polished listing aimed at the wrong query.

An in-house specialist can be the right answer too. The agency vs in-house guide is the comparison, and it is not a pitch. If you only need the one-time rewrite, say that on the audit. Scope should match the problem. We would rather do the listing pass than invent a retainer around a single title.

Process and timeline

  1. Audit the ASINs that matter. Usually that is the traffic you already have, or the ASIN you are about to fund. Free.
  2. Research and a written change list: title, bullets, backend terms, images, and A+. You approve it before anything goes live. Nothing is published from a draft you have not seen.
  3. Publish, then watch indexing and conversion. We do not refresh the copy every week for the sake of activity. Listings need time in the index.
  4. Match the campaigns to the new terms so the traffic and the page say the same thing. A rewrite that the ads ignore is half a project.

Indexing can move within days. Meaningful rank usually takes several weeks of sales on the terms you added. Full organic impact is a 60 to 90 day read. That is the timeline we will use on the call, not a seven-day rank guarantee.

If the ads are already running, bring them into the audit. The search-term report is part of the keyword decision.

FAQ

What is listing optimization?

Listing optimization gets a product indexed for the right searches and chosen when a shopper arrives. The work covers the title, bullets, backend search terms, images, A+ content, and the variation family. It is not a keyword list pasted into a title.

How long until rankings change?

Indexing can move within days of a published edit. Conversion usually needs a few weeks of traffic on the new page. A fair read on organic sales is 60 to 90 days, after Amazon has reindexed the listing and seen sales on the new terms. We do not judge a rewrite on day three.

Do you write backend search terms?

Yes. We use the byte limit without repeating words already in the title or bullets, we leave competitor brand names out, and we fill the other backend fields the category shows. Backend terms let a query index without forcing awkward wording into the bullets.

Fiverr vs agency: which should I hire?

A Fiverr freelancer is a reasonable way to rewrite one title when someone on your team can check the draft against real search terms. An agency is the right scope when the listing has to match the ad account, the images, and A+ content across a catalog. If you only need the one title, say so. We will not build a retainer around it.

Can AI optimize listings?

AI is useful for sorting Business Reports into a traffic problem, a conversion problem, or a positioning problem. It is a weak way to rewrite a listing with no account data. A person chooses the change and publishes it. Where Manage Your Experiments is available, we test the title or the main image.

Does it lower ACOS?

A page that converts can hold rank on a lower bid, and it stops you paying for clicks the page cannot close. Across accounts we manage, average ACOS reduction in the first 90 days is 45%. That average includes ads, listings, and inventory. A single rewrite is not a promise of that number.

The listing guide stays the how-to. This page is the service. If you want the work done on the catalog, start with the audit.
